Dear Hockey Parents;

Grand Valley Youth Hockey has progressively grown since it first started 3 years ago. It is an up and coming sport for the city of Grand Junction's youth.

We plan to have 5 competitive teams in the 2009/10 season. As with any new sport expenses are constantly increasing and are expected to be over $1,600 a child next year. And this does not include equipment. It is not a cheap sport and unfortunately many children can't play due to the cost.

By fundraising as a non-profit organization, any money made will help reduce the $1,600 fee.

Our first fundraiser this year is our 1st annual golf tournament. We hope that you will help out by sponsoring and/or playing. Our success will come by your participation.

Please talk with friends and business owners that you know and see what kind of support we can get. Once you have information on teams that want to play or business's that are interested in sponsoring a hole or flag, please contact us at:-
